Our dry (and very cold spell) has ended ...

... at least the dry part has. It began snowing this afternoon.

Mother is branching out in her painting styles and have moved in to doing portraits ...

The clock is ticking

Less than a week left and still more work to do. But we have made progress on the remodel and getting ready to have everyone home for the holiday.

Remodel happenings in November

We made progress in November, with ceilings painted and doors starting to get hung

Custom doors cut and installed for our Harry Potter closet

Well, we passed the insulation inspection this week and got busy finishing getting the sheetrock up on the walls. Thanks to Sam and Ben, we finished with the drywall and have begun the "mud and tape" process. It's actually starting to look like real rooms. Below are some photos on the progress.

OK, so it may be a little dark at times, but without electricity hooked up in some areas it's the best I could do for now. Hopefully this helps make sense of some of the earlier pictures posted.

Insulation & Drywall

We're nearly done with the insulation and have begun putting up some of the drywall. Hopefully, we'll get the insulation and inspection done this upcoming week and then get busy finishing all the drywall work. It's starting to look like they are real rooms ...
